How We Work
Working with you:
At Hatfield CPA, LLC we solve your tax and accounting problems with practical solutions. We save you money on your taxes by applying your expenses towards the most effective deductions and credits allowed by law.
During our complimentary initial meeting we listen to your thoughts and questions and step through a checklist of questions so that by the end of the conversation we understand how your business works and what tax, accounting/bookkeeping, and planning services might be of interest. We summarize in writing our understanding of possible projects and their estimated costs for your review. Once the work scope is agreed upon, we set a schedule with you and your staff and dig in.
Our invoices never exceed the agreed upon cost without your prior authorization. Surprises are only fun when they involve gifts!
Working with your team:
We view ourselves as part of your advisory team. We work with you and your staff and your outside professionals such as your attorney, financial advisor, bank or brokerage, etc. to together fully satisfy your business, accounting/tax and financial needs.
If you like, we would be pleased to introduce you to professional services providers – attorneys, financial planners, bankers, bookkeepers – with whom we have worked well. Of course, we are happy to work with whomever you choose as your team.
We will share with your in-house or outsourced team members the work responsibilities necessary to get the job done. For example, we provide an online payroll service that your authorized staff and ours can access to pay your employees and payroll taxes directly. Depending upon your needs and desires, you can do all, part or none of the work involved. Of course, we adjust our fees accordingly.
